The OCTAGONAL BLENDER stands as an efficient and adaptable blending apparatus, ideal for the meticulous mixing and lubrication processes of dry granules. To ensure thorough mixing, approximately two-thirds of the volume of the Cone Blender is filled.

The Octagonal Blender delivers optimal results for granular materials, owing to its deliberate slow speed and distinctive octagonal container shape. Its utility extends across various industries including pharmaceuticals, food processing, chemicals, and cosmetics.

Within the Octagonal Blender, granules benefit from uniform mixing as they interact from all sides due to the container’s octagonal configuration, necessitating lower RPM (revolutions per minute). This feature makes it particularly suitable for crystalline and granular materials. The unique shape of the container ensures continuous movement of the materials, promoting high-quality blending and lubrication of granules even with gentle agitation.

V-Type Blenders

The V-Blender stands as a widely favored tumble blender, finding extensive application across the pharmaceutical and food sectors. Its versatility extends to various industries including pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, food processing, chemicals, cosmetics, ceramics, pesticides, plastics, and others. This discourse delves into the intricacies of the design, construction, and operation of the conventional V-Blender.

The ‘V’ Blender, characterized by its rotating shell and V-Type configuration, is exclusively employed for dry mixing purposes. Notably, it features no packing glands (seals) around shafts entering the chamber, thus mitigating concerns regarding cross-contamination.

Double Cone Blender

Double cone blenders have served as the stalwarts for blending applications and find widespread use in industries spanning from chemical to pharmaceutical and food. Capable of achieving homogeneous dry mixing of free-flowing powders and granules with minimal shearing force, they excel at mixing and blending particles, ensuring rapid intermixing regardless of differing specific gravities. The effective volume for achieving optimal homogeneity typically falls within the range of 35-70% of the gross volume. While primarily operating at a single speed, a two-speed variant is available upon request.
